The Morpho Arc was, to me, an absolute tour de force of character writing, visual metaphor, and some truly stunning animation. I was nail biting and on the edge of my seat. As Shin was losing allies, and when Frederica held that pistol… Ep 21 is a masterwork of tension building, but without the foundations of eps 18-20, the tension would have never been there. For a such a “young” animation team, they truly outdid themselves. And can we give some shout outs to Yuto Uemura for his performance as Kiriya? Man, did the VA fill Kiriya with rage, anguish, and self-loathing pain. Great performance!
