Rudy hasn't had any contact to real people in decades, so it's no wonder that he IS a living anime cliche. But now that Roxy opened up the real world for him, his real life can begin, which hopefully brings developement with it. It's an opportunity for him to become his own character and rise out of the cliche.

2022-08-11 15:40:28 +0000 UTCMT can be a bit of a slow burn at times and takes a while until it gets into something you could call an overarching plot at the start.While there are some battles in it they are far from the focus of the story. It's really basically the story of Rudeus life, including both the more dramatic and the more slice of lifeish and slow parts.
