Another great reaction! Loving your commentary on the show. Just a few things: Pike was originally gone building a temple to Sarenrae in Vasselheim (seems like they replaced that with the whole "alignment shift" and rededicating herself to Sarenrae mini-arc she had in the Underdark maybe?), and the wraith encounter did actually happen in the original campaign! It was just that the Briarwoods sent the wraiths to kill Desmond so he couldn't spill any secrets about Whitestone, rather than sending them to grab a book. Aside from all of that, I *really* liked how they depicted necrotic damage here. Like, the creepiness of the dark veins and the way necrotic damage withers you, that's all kind of standard/how I usually imagine it. But the grossness of it, the black ichor coming out of their eyes and nose, the way it *lingers*, it definitely made necrotic damage seem way scarier to me than it had before. Anyway, looking forward to more of your thoughts next week!
