Mushishi Zoku Shou 9 + 10 Early Access

I really like episode 10 in its quiet contemplation and lack of human characters except ginko. It reminds me of some nature- themed stories i read as a child, stories of travellers and explorers and expeditions. The central idea of it, as well as many of those stories, is that a person, even the most knowledgeable one, is just one little human amidst the vast nature with its own cosmic flow, and that man proposes, but god disposes .. which kind of literally happens here XD The atmosphere of it really speaks to me as someone who is familiar with winter and the vibes at the end of it. In the Finnish language there is a word "takatalvi", which means "back winter" or "winter again", and it is that period in spring when after some warmth and good weather, it gets cold and snowy again, and it feels like the winter has returned. These are the exact vibes i get from this episode, this natural phenomenon. I wonder if a word for it also exists in Japanese.

It makes a lot of sense for the father in ep9 not to use the medicine right away. He probably needed to use the power to put in the work needed to transition from unsustainable mushi farming to sustainable seasonal farming.
