Adashino's presence brings levity as always, and i think another reason is to underline the "do no harm" lesson. Ginko and Adashino are both people with the knowledge that can be used to both good and bad, and their morality is very important because of the power they have. And that's the lesson that Ibuki needs to learn. Also, interesting contrast with episode 7 re: using your supernatural powers!
