Athe tournament twist is a bit silly, but i really love it bc yusuke just rolls up to propose that one utopian idea of " why don't we just have a sports competition instead of a war to solve a political crisis", and it's just the right thing to say - we know that demons love their tournaments, and even those of Yomi's ilk are sick and tired of politics and just wanna kick some ass and have fun. Maybe the point of having yomi meet him in a traditional room is to invoke that contrast within yomi? π€ He might be all savvy and techy now, but goes as far back as raisen & co, and we oughtta remember why hes in this in the first place - his past brashness and recklessness, so on the inside he too wants to throw it all out and go all in on the individual tournament. Maybe. And yusuke is perfect for the role hes played here, who is a better to bring in all the right ideals than a highschool aged hooligan XD
