Added 2024-07-07 00:26:13 +0000 UTCWoooo finale we made it!! We were so stressed out while watching these last 3 episodes. It almost feels surreal that we actually made it to the sunflower samurai after all this time. We didn't know what to expect. We thought for sure we were going to lose at least one of the trio, if not more, so although it's a bittersweet end we're happy with how it turned out. We became so attached to these characters as we've come to expect with Watanabe's shows. Their growth together and individually throughout their journey was super emotional, and watching their bond deepen over time made the finale perfect. We'll definitely miss them!!

And here's to many more journeys with other series in the future! Thanks, guys!

Jin was gonna inherit the school and he would have refused, so he had to be killed. I definitely think the trio will see each other again. Our boys each have an unresolved plot thread with a woman, and all three of them need to find some new stuff to live for after putting their heavy pasts behind them. I like to think they all pop into each others lives now and then to talk, pig out and play baseball.

I consider Bebop and Champloo to be on pretty equal footing, so it's always been odd to me why it's seemingly fallen to the wayside in popularity. Thank you for the discussions, and the singing of the intro lol
