2024-05-09 19:41:09 +0000 UTCYeah while editing I also noticed that billboard!! At first I thought they based the vault boy on him (which I guess in a way they did) but yeah now I'm picking up on him getting fully replaced! Love how this show drops little hints!

2024-05-09 16:05:53 +0000 UTCI didn't notice until rewatching with this reaction, but in the episode-specific closing credits for this one, there is a billboard where you can see that the cartoon, blonde Vault Boy was painted directly over a photo of Cooper doing the thumbs up - implies Cooper was the O.G., and then they updated / replaced him with the mascot later on.

2024-05-09 14:39:10 +0000 UTCI think it is suppose to be implied in this episode that Cooper/the Ghoul was the mascot for Vault-tec before Vault boy. That's why Vault boy is seen doing the thumbs up.
