Tablet Update...

Hey everyone... so, unfortunately when I settled down to draw tonight I found that my tablet won't turn on at all now. I tried a couple of other "replacement" cables (they're actually just older broken cables 'cause like I said I've had to replace them like 4 times now so I have a few lying around) hoping maybe I could get the thing to work at least a little until I get the new cables but no dice.

But while fiddling around with stuff, I noticed that the light on the power adapter isn't turning on which makes me suspect that the adapter is broken, which is a different cable (there's actually 2 main cables). Because the 3-in-1 cable is the one I usually have problems with, of course I just assumed that was the problem... but it might not be.

I don't want this delay to go on for too much longer so I went ahead an ordered a new power adapter too in the case that one cable doesn't fix the problem, at least I'll have my bases covered. But since I placed the order 2 days after the first one, I will have to wait a little longer for the power adapter to arrive.

I know that I will eventually need to get a new tablet because this one has too many issues with the cables. Unfortunately for now I'm kinda stuck with this one. My laptop has gotten pretty old and last time I tried to upgrade to a newer OS it messed up my art programs pretty bad and I had to restore to the older OS from a backup. And when I looked into getting a different type of tablet, it seemed like it would have some compatibility issues working with an older OS (on Mac). So I'm hoping to hold out until I get a new laptop someday (whenever this one dies, I guess *knock on wood*) and then I can get a new tablet too.

In the meantime, I can do some traditional art if that works. I just need to go out tomorrow and get some drawing supplies. I hate to keep you all waiting and I really appreciate your patience while I'm dealing with this. :( Hopefully I will get my tablet working again sometime next week.

TL;DR: My tablet's not working at all now. I might need a different cable, which will be here hopefully next week.
