CYOA News

Hey everyone, one of my new patrons was inquiring about the next CYOA poll series so I wanted to just drop a bit of information about the polls and get everyone on board with where I'm at and how the polls should (hopefully!) work.

To date there have only been 2 Choose Your Own Adventure polls. This is still something new I'm trying out and I'm still working out the kinks (no pun). You can find the first poll result here and the second here (or search posts for CYOA).

The first series of polls went pretty smoothly but the second series suffered a few hang ups (basically a mix of running too long, my tablet being broken and my cat being sick on and off ((he's currently sick again today so I apologize in advance if there are more delays))). I ended up having to take some of the poll results and make a decision on what to draw with them when there really should have been further choices for everyone. The delays resulted in the finished drawing going up late... I'm happy it was received well though, thanks everyone.

The previous polls had an average 3 day voting period for each poll/sub poll, which seemed like an adequate amount of time to ensure everyone got a chance to vote, but we were running up on the end of April pretty quickly that way, so I think the next set of polls may need to be run for only 2 days each which means everyone will need to make sure to vote quickly! 

I'm going to get the first poll going soon so please keep an eye out for the post. We're already a week into May so I'm hoping the polls won't run too long again, if they do I will have to decide on the final results again, but hopefully it won't come to that!

How the Polls Work:

Every few days a poll will go up with a series of choices. For example the first poll usually has just 2 options:

-My OC's

-Fan Art

Subsequent polls usually have 4 options and decide on things like: How many Characters, Scenario (Chubby kink or Other),  Outfits etc. Some polls lead to additional sub polls etc. It all just depends on what wins the previous polls. :)

Additional information:

I previously had patrons vote on the possibility of running simultaneous polls on Patreon & Twitter for a larger voting poll (results would still be posted early just for $5+ patrons) and that vote resulted in a "yes". This is still a possibility for the future, but for right now I'm keeping the polls open just to $5+ patrons until the kinks are ironed out!)

There might not be a CYOA poll series every month. I'd really like to run one every month, but it also depends on my workload. For instance back in February I drew a lot of stuff for Karamatsu Month and wouldn't have had time to run the polls if they had been a thing back then, however the only concrete plan I have for May is to draw something for the sextuplet's birthday on the 24th so time-wise, the polls should work out fine. 

I will keep you all updated on news or if there are any other delays. I really appreciate your patience as I figure this stuff out. I do think the polls are fun and would like to keep offering them to you on a regular basis. :)
