Laptop in the Shop
Added 2020-02-12 04:23:07 +0000 UTCHey everyone! As you may have seen, my laptop went into the shop today so I’ll be without it for the rest of the week. It’s been in need of a new battery for a while and I started to think if I continue putting it off, the battery is likely to die entirely so I might as well get it fixed before that happens.
Unfortunately my laptop has gotten old (5 years) and getting it fixed turned out to be a lot more expensive than I anticipated. Yes, I know I probably should’ve put that money towards a new computer... but in all honesty my laptop works great and I don’t really wanna have to fiddle around with all of my art software and tablet and such to get everything working right... not right now anyway. I just want to get back to work.
I just want to say that I really appreciate all of the support y’all have given me, especially when expenses like this turn up. Not just monetarily, but your comments and messages really mean a lot to me. Thank you so much.
Once I have my computer back (barring any complications *knock on wood*) I’ll be opening some commission slots to try and recoup some of the money going into the repair (not to mention the money I splurged on ‘Matsu merch this week, ugh... bad timing!) so please keep an eye out for my posts if you’ve been wanting one.
In the meantime, I’m going to be sketching some more stuff for Karamatsu Month using my iPad. I still suck royally using it so they’ll be slow to make simple doodles, but I will share them with y’all as soon as I make ‘em (assuming Airdrop cooperates, it doesn’t like to...). I might doodle some non Matsu stuff too (at least I hope anyway!).
