August News...
Added 2019-07-29 16:58:46 +0000 UTCGood morning everyone. With July coming to a close I figured I'd drop in and go over some thoughts and possible plans for August.
June and July were really rough art-wise... I've been battling with depression and the troubles I had with my tablet through a good chunk of July really slowed down my productivity. The tablet situation is fortunately resolved which is good because I can get back to regular work... The depression on the other hand is still something I'm struggling with. I've been taking some new medication for a couple of months now and I do think it's helping, but I still have bouts of depression which makes creativity slip out of my grasp. I've mostly been compelled to draw chubbymatsus but logically I know I should be offering more of a variety for everyone. I've really been struggling to come up with some ideas for my OC's because I really would like to get back to them... I miss them... I know y'all do too... but for right now I can mostly just concentrate on what I'm compelled to draw so I can keep offering content for everyone and hope that I get some original ideas in the meantime. I really do appreciate all of the support you send me and for hanging in there during these rough times. I am of course always open to suggestions, even if it's just little things I can sketch or doodle, it could help!
Story-wise, I may concentrate on continuing my Karabita story since that's what I'm leaning toward but I've also been trying to brainstorm ideas for another Carter & Cooper story. I have the start of it going but I'm not sure yet where I want it to go, so I'll continue to mull over it for a while and try to do some more sketches and brainstorming about the friends who'll be introduced in it.
Other than that August is a bit up in the air! But I really hope you will continue to enjoy my illustrations. Thank you all so much for being here! <3
