Another Tablet Update
Added 2019-07-19 14:54:16 +0000 UTCAfter fiddling around a little with the incorrect tablet I was sent and talking to Amazon customer service for a bit, I decided ultimately to send it back. After much online shopping, I deemed it probably impractical to get the same model I currently have.
I spent a good amount of time researching tablets and ordered a 16" Cintiq last night... it's a bit bigger than my current one so I hope that still works out. I woulda been fine with another 13" but seems like Wacom doesn't have that option if you don't want a touch screen model.
It seems to be a budget version so I'm not sure how that compares to my current Cintiq but hopefully it's good. It doesn't have express keys which is disappointing but I think there is an option to put some onscreen.
Anyway, I've been going through some major Karamatsu withdrawls and driving my friends nuts so hopefully I will be able to get back to my usual nonsense soon. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly with the new tablet so I can get back to work!
As long as it works out as expected, I will likely be opening commissions to try to offset the cost of the tablet from some other things I spent too much money on recently... thanks so much for hanging in there.
