More Catboy Doodles

Playing around with this guy a little more this morning... His 1980's Corey Feldman in the Lost Boys look is starting to grow on me, so I may just leave his design as it is for now. I think I need to draw a bit more with him to really start getting a feel for him and what he's about.

A few thoughts so far:

He has some ability to hide/reveal his cat features. Not sure exactly how this works; whether they "pop" out or if it's more like people can't see them? I do plan for him to have some sort of romantic partner/confidant in the future so perhaps there's some reason they can see his cat features when others can't? I have an idea of what I want his partner to look like, but I will wait on sketching them when I've got a better feel for this guy.

He has both cat ears and human ears simultaneously. They both function, but he may make more use of the cat ones to fine tune his hearing. He does have the ability to move his cat ears and they do react to sounds or go flat when he's annoyed or whatever. The fur on his tail will stand up when he's frightened or angry.

I don't know why he's a cat boy... perhaps he had some sort of magic cat dad and human mom?

I think he probably owns a shirt although I haven't drawn it yet. I'm thinking short tank top with a little belly exposed at the bottom. I like his capris and headband(?) so he'll keep those for the time being. He likes food and belly rubs obviously... there's always a 99% chance if you're created by me you will love food and belly rubs, haha. He's also highly food motivated.

I need to do some more thinking about him and see if I can come up with some more specifics for his personality and all that. He still needs a name. I'm open to ideas and suggestions y'all may have for him too.
