Hopper Drawings

Good morning, everyone! I recently had a question regarding Ben's little brother Stevie which kind of sent me off on a Stevie kick, haha. I hadn't posted them previously to my Patreon because I didn't want to flood y'all's inboxes with my little bunny nonsense, but if you look at these drawings and think "Hey, I'd like to see more stuff like this from you on Patreon, Jaymz!" just let me know!

These drawings are really just for fun (and world building) since Ben's siblings won't appear in the Chunky Skunk comic for quite some time. But here's some info about them:

Ben has 2 younger siblings. Becca is around 15, Stevie is 10 or 11. They all have the same skin tone/hair color. Becca has freckles though the boys do not. Ben and Stevie have the same eye color, I'm undecided on Becca but I think she either has the same eye color as her brothers or they're green. In the first sketch (above) you can see their approximate height differences. For reference, Ben is around 6' 4" probably, he's a big dude. I'm undecided whether Stevie will get tall when he's older or stay small, but it's a moot point since I don't plan for any of these characters to age anyway, haha.

Stevie is considerably younger than his siblings. Ben's completely smitten with his little brother, it's part protective older brother but also just family love. ^_^ I have a feeling Stevie is a little spoiled being the youngest and also being pretty adorable, haha.

I drew this sketch and full color drawing of Ben and Stevie playing games. Ben likes to give him a hard time like this sometimes, but they mostly get along. :) Personality-wise Stevie is pretty rambunctious (bordering on hyperactive). He can sometimes be a bit of a handful. I think he may be interested in some sort of art (possibly drawing) or music (maybe drums or something like that in the future). 

I don't have any other drawings of Becca yet and I still need to work out her personality, but I think she's a little shy, a bit of a book worm. Much like Vincent's friend Ethan, she spends a lot of time on her phone. ;)

While Ben is pretty popular at school, I think Stevie probably thinks his older brother is a huge dork. Ben just wants to snuggle the baby bun but Stevie is not into older brother cooties.

I think once they got to know each other, Vincent and Stevie probably become friends. I drew this last night thinking about how, as an illustrator, kids are always asking you to draw them stuff, haha. Here Stevie's asking Vincent to draw something on his Nintendo Switch while Vincent is wondering when Ben will come back, haha. This was partially inspired by my nephew who is constantly showing me the Switch I bought him as if I don't know what it looks like...
