Sketch Dump September 2017

Better late than never! :) Here's the September 2017 sketch dump. Not a ton of sketches this month, mostly Vincent stuff... I was having a hard time drawing (it happens sometimes) so here's just a few, hope you like 'em. :)

Top left: Preliminary sketch for the title page of Chunky Skunk Episode 3. I like how the title page turned out, though I think I'm going to change Vincent's shirt, haha. I kinda like his striped shirt better and I'd like to see him wear that on his first date with Ben maybe.

Top right: This was a another doodle I started when I was thinking of doing a little series about Vincent's anatomy but didn't follow through with it. More about that idea on this post.

Middle left: The preliminary sketch for the Devil Spy chibis for the next issue of Combine magazine. I ended up changing Wyatt's expression, though I don't remember why, haha.

Middle right: Originally planned this to be a preliminary sketch for a follow up to this where Vincent ate too much ice cream, but I never finished it. Don't worry Vincent, I feel that way about chow mein!

Bottom left: Quick Amber sketch, with added RAGS. I keep saying I need to practice my lady characters more, but have failed to follow through! Haha. Smooth.

Bottom right: A couple of young Vincent and Ethan sketches. I was trying to get a feel for their bodies, so I drew them in their swim trunks maybe at the lake or something. They're probably around 11 or so here. Vincent was at his chubbiest at this age, I theorize that between the ages of 13 and 16 Vincent grew a bit taller and sort of evened out a bit (but still has that pot belly that I don't think will ever go away). Ethan was always pretty scrawny. I picture him being lanky in the way that Arthur is in the Sword in the Stone, He's still pretty lanky, but massively taller, haha. He's got a book because I imagine he read on the shore more than he actually swam. He's got his phone too, because of course he does. I doubt he ever takes that hat off.
