idk if anyone told you but this episode is a parody of the TV show 24. the format, the focus on counter terrorism, the cuts, the clock appearance and sound, the 'man on the inside' storybeat, the camera angles, the screen getting cut up, the changing of the branch in control of the investigation, ESPECIALLY the interrogation scene (the main character, Jack Bauer, was batshit fuckin insane in his interrogations), even the phone ringtone, all from 24. also, fun fact, pigs are better at locating and identifying explosives than electronic detection devices. so thats why a pig. another fun fact: AskJeeves.com is still up lmfao. just checked
