We didn't like the packages together but at least we understood the reasoning behind it. It's funny it's actually not the cable Co. It's the networks, for one really good channel we had to add 10 of the crappy ones to get the best deal, then pass that on to customers. Plus we used to have 4 hour time windows. We finally got it to 2 hours and hired contractors to make appointments same day or next day. I have YouTube TV, The cable Co. Just way too expensive. Accept they give us the Internet and jack up the prices. Basically they always get there money in the end.

They would give you a time window between a mouth and say well provide service between 8 to 5pm and if you weren't home they would extend their service window for another mouth. Also like your phone companies if there wasn't any other companies around you'd be stuck with that certain provider
