Love how Chef gets serious as soon as the weird dude asks about the children. Doesn't rat the kids out, and doesn't immediately tell him off, instead asks him why he cares just in case some shit is going down. Sidney Poitier was an iconic black actor in the 50's or 60's and all the way to the 90's at least. "In The Heat of the Night" and "They Call Me Mr. Tibb's" are two good movies from him.
