Now that I really think about it, Sozin was being hella greedy. That greed costed him his only friend. But damn the rest of the family ain't have to continue his world domination ideals. Azulon ( Sozins son ) couldve easily said nah ion wanna be doin that, I'm trying to make a change. But nope like father like son. The same ideals went to Iroh and Ozai ( Azulons sons ) Iroh seen what war can do to people and he wasnt with none of that anymore but of course..Ozai had to be like his father and grandfather. Now we got Azula, but I'd argue she could* be redeemed somehow.
