Lmao Yumichicka really was all cap. And no, not all the arrancars are captain level, only a select elite amongst them, you will find out who next episode. Also let me clarify since it was kinda confusing but Renji, Hinamori, and Kira were all assigned to Captain Aizen's squad when they entered the 13 Court guard squads. Aizen sent Kira to Gin's squad cuz he could be useful, kept Hinamori for himself, and transfered Renji to Squad 11 Kenpachi squad cuz he was a troublemaker and Aizen wasnt sure of his nature. Then when he got there Renji asked Ikkaku to train him. Eventually Renji became strong enough and transferred to Byakuya's squad so he can become his lieutenant and eventually surpass him. He actually got the promotion to become Byakuya's lieutenant literally the same day Rukia left to go to the real world and met Ichigo in episode 1. Its the reason why she was surprised to see Renji with Byakuya in episode 16 when she ran away cuz she didnt know he became a brand new lieutenant.
