Thats why he should only use it as a last resort. And when iroh and zuko cut their ponytails that actually is symbolism. So when Japanese warriors cut off their ponytails, its them cutting away their honor and abandoning their identify. So that was them basically cutting themselves off from the fire nation because they're wanted now. So yeah super serious stuff. Amazing premiere.
