Do people spend time looking up this stuff? Where do you even look? In the credits? I never remember this stuff. All I notice is different quality or style of the animation

Each team is a little different and you always know when the lineart gets thinner and the character designs simple out a bit that some good movement is going to be happening that episode. This is easily in my top 5 favorite fights in Shippuden

2021-09-28 23:03:20 +0000 UTCAs far as I'm aware, this episode and the one with Shikamaru grieving Asuma's death were animated by other studio. Also Naruto vs Sasuke from OG series was animated by different studio. Although they for some reason never again used the studio that animated this arc, they did use the one that animated Naruto vs Sasuke OG fight again in one of the upcoming arcs, I hope you can recognize that OG art style when the time comes. One of the things I love about this series is that we sometimes get the same Naruto vibe from different art styles. They like to experiment which is nice. Some people don't appreciate it for some reason, if Naruto had it's concrete signature art like Demon Slayer or JJK sure it wouldn't be good but people forget that OG+Shippuden is 700+ episodes so there was some serious money saved in production. Look at how much was spent on Mugen Train alone, or just 10 or so episodes of JJK, that kind of budget was impossible for Naruto, or pretty much any anime before 2015-2016.
