Gaara's backstory was awesome. his fight with kimimaro was so cool when he's like "i'm called gaara of the desert for a reason." /makes giant ass sand typhoon XD

2021-07-09 22:51:26 +0000 UTCIn the original series I was a fan of Gaara and his abilities but not so much his desire for bloodshed. In the ninja world I thought it was always cooler when the villains were strong but level headed. Like Orochimaru and Kabuto. Now that he's moved to a protagonist and we get more backstory, he's more enjoyable. I didn't feel like he was villain material.

2021-07-09 19:46:52 +0000 UTCGaara is the ultimate redemption story. He scared the absolute shit out of me in OG Naruto but seeing someone change so much was just so amazing to see. The way his relationship with his siblings changed genuinely warmed my heart. You could tell they always loved him but there was so much out of their control and then they became scared of him but the fact that they get to actually show him love and support and affection now is just everything I could hope for.
