Remember in the "Bad Choices Road" episode a few episodes back? Mike was describing what happens when you choose a certain road to go down. All the characters in this series made choices that set them on a road. They are on those roads now and they will live out those consequences. It will be interesting to see whether they are good consequences or bad ones.

2025-08-05 14:10:34 +0000 UTCIt was amazing watching you discover what's going on in this episode. As you have already watched ep 3, yes, Gus planted the "proof" that Nacho was the inside man. They were also watching Nacho so that he doesn't leave the motel. Remember, they told Nacho to stay inside and shoot if anyone tries to get in. The plan was to have a shoot out and then Nacho would get killed. This way, he won't admit to working for Gus. Salamancas wanted him alive as they suspect he's working for someone else and wanted to know who it was. If, instead, there was a shoot out, he'd most likely die and with the planted proof, the case would be closed. All of this was planned by Gus without Mike's involvement. In 6x1, Mike says to Gus "unless you have something else in the works" while discussing rescuing Nacho out. Also the reason Mike didn't take his calls. Lalo being alive and Nacho leaving the motel changed everything for Gus.
