Jimmy pretty much cut ties mentally with Chuck after their last conversation. Things are ramping up with the Salamancas. Tuco is in jail, so he cannot take over Hectors business. Gus knows that Nacho did something with the medicine, to kill Hector. There are still the twins to worry about. Bolsa is Don Eladio's represenative, and he gave Nacho permission to run Hectors territory, but will the Salamancas trust him, since he is not related? Hector was incensed, that Eladio is making him rely on Gus's network, when he wants his own network. That brought on the stroke that Hector had, and could not recover because the pills Nacho switched were sugar pills instead of Nitro pills. A lot of things are in the air. Mike does not like getting money for nothing, so he is bored after giving up the parking attendant job. He has enough money to retire after robbing Hector's truck tire, and he still gets his pension from Philadelphia police dept, because he had already retired after his son was killed. Gus had offered Mike a chance to work for him and Mike said maybe. Mike learned from Lydia, that Gus thinks very highly of him, and is the first of Gus's employees to get this financial arrangement.
