2025-02-13 14:01:26 +0000 UTChey Sharon, I'm looking at it. I figure, altogether (airfare, air b&B, con costs, food, etc) it would come out to around $2500. It's not an absolute impossibility, but it would be tight. My daughter starts university in Toronto (which is far from home in Winnipeg) in September, so there's gonna be a lot of costs associated with that. But...I'll have to see. I know con stuff goes fast though, so... It sure would be cool to get to meet up with you in person though. 😊

Jared, especially shines in those (I have a clear Jared bias 😊 even though I absolutely adore the both of them) His stories about dealing with mental health are what make me relate to him and I would love to see your take on them too 😊

2025-02-08 22:50:07 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you enjoyed everything! 😊 Like Sharon said, the Hillywood girls knew Osric, so he helped them get all the footage for the first parody, of everyone dancing, backstage at at a con. But for both parodies, the Hillywood girls and all their crew built all those sets, and made everything themselves. They borrowed an Impala (credit is given at the end of the first video) as well as the "ghostbuster" costumes. So much work and love goes into them for sure. I love that the whole cast was involved. ❤️ You said that Jensen seemed shy in the concert, and I think you're very right. That was their first concert and it was the first time Jensen was going to be singing for a couple hours onstage. Before that, one or two songs at Cons was the most he'd ever done. So, I bet he was very nervous, but he did wonderfully. And yes, all the Radio Company songs (or the overwhelming majority anyway) are written by both Jensen and Steve Carlson. Jensen does play guitar, not all the time, but he plays well, and plays later on in the concert. Seeing them live is DEFINITELY a big dream, as is getting to a Con one day. That's a big bucket list item. ❤️

Osric worked with them on previous projects and he kinda got them access to the first one, which the cast love, so when it was time to do the second one... well it was easier to get them! I created my own version of the Hillywood Parody 1 at cons last year with my friends... it was so much fun to, but trying to get drunk con goers to do stuff was difficult lol

I was also there and one of the cameras was from mine during 'Let Me Be' (I was mostly photographing the gig than filming).
