You were responding to MY post, so naturally I assumed you were replying to me. If you're just commenting something to Evie you shouldn't post as a reply, you should create your own separate post. Otherwise, I'm gonna assume your responding to what I wrote. (Though I'm pretty sure Evie also doesn't need to be told character and actor are separate people 🙄 It's just a really condescending thing to say. But we can just chalk it up to bad communication and leave it at that.

You also shouldn't lay out your own thoughts about a character who we know so little about. It's spoilerish. I merely conveyed what we saw in the episode to explain why it seems very unlikely SB did what Butcher said. But we should let Evie decide on her own what she thinks of the character without our influence.

It also looked like she missed/misinterpreted the part where MM was looking at the newspaper cutouts of how he killed a family, murdered and abused many more people. That alone should have already given the clue of what was to come when meeting with Gunpowder.

2025-01-16 22:12:15 +0000 UTCGreat reaction!! Lots given to us in this episode. 😍 Starting with Soldier Boy and Gunpowder. So, I'm 99.9% sure Soldier Boy never molested Gunpowder. I think Butcher just went there because he knew (given the kind of right wing nutjobs Gunpowder and his fan base are) that would get the biggest rise out of him. Despite the fact that if it were true Gunpowder would be a victim, those kinds of people would put the blame on Gunpowder and label him as "gay" and that would be the end of his career. So, Butcher had a report that he got from MM saying Gunpowder accused SB of abuse, so he ran with that idea just to piss him off and try to pressure him to give up what he knew about SB. But when he was actually under pressure, Gunpowder just said that SB use to smack him around and get rough with him. Which, given SB's strength, was probably bad enough. But no, SB isn't supposed to be a creepy pedo, thank God. I don't think I could see Jensen in a role like that! 😭 Crazy that Butcher took the V!! I do totally understand why he did, but 😬😬. The look on Todd's face (Monique's boyfriend) was so horrifying. There are so many mediocre dudes who relate to people telling them the world owes them something, and that none of their mediocrity is their fault, that the world is just out to get them. 🙄 Just yikes!! I agree that, despite everything, and no matter how horrible she was (and she was pretty horrible!) I felt bad for Stormfront. No one should be forced to suffer like that. What a horrible existence to live for a whole year. Just putting her out of her misery seems like it would have been much more humane. I was wondering about Kimiko's scenes...on the version you're watching, do you have subtitles for her signing? Cause they should be there, but I don't see them. The scene between her and Frenchie was so sweet and heartbreaking. I'd hate for you to be missing out on a big part of it. Anyway, great reaction! Can't wait for the next one. 😊
