You're right, Neuman's true motives will be revealed next season, hope no one spoils it. About what you asked towards the beginning - Rebecca telling Vought that Homelander took her kid would make no difference, they don't care about her feelings, they just wanted to hide Ryan to protect the truth about what Homelander did. The cameras at her house were only to prevent her escaping, which is why she is being chased at the start.

It's just as good as The Boys, if not better at times... it also has an appearance from another SPN actor I know that you like... (trying to entice you to watch it...)
