I was so happy to see John again. All three Winchester men are marvellous. I wish Amara had brought John back instead of the unmotherly Mary. For all his faults, there was no doubt that John loved his sons.

I also don't like Jared as an actor but I do love the scene with Sam and John, it's very heartfelt. Dean is the best, he is the best character I have ever seen in any show. I just love Dean and Jensen so much. Jensen was made for this show. I gush because I love him.

2024-10-19 16:28:00 +0000 UTCI never know when the big episodes are but sometimes little hints, Nancy did suggest that I should have some kind of "social lubricant" (which I love that way of saying it lol) but I thought it would be a funky/funny episode......π I loved it so much though and I also love to think John had a feeling of knowing his boys were important for the world :') It kind of makes me feel better about his parenting if I see it that way so I choose to hihi

2024-10-19 16:00:37 +0000 UTCI was talking with a friend . I said the dad should never had left the show . I feel like his relationship with Dean and Sam could have gave us some good stories . But Dean an Sam don't grow as much if they dad there so it all worked out .

I see it as a sign as well, I'm sure he's so proud of you. β€οΈ It was incredible to get John back. A lot of people hate his character with a very intense kinda hatred. But I've always loved John's character. I haven't liked all his decisions, and like Sam said, yeah, some of the stuff he did was messed up and not tip top parenting. But I also agree wholeheartedly with Sam when he says, "You fought for us, and you loved us." Cause he really did. John was presented with a completely untenable situation, something horrific and traumatic ripped his wife away from him and he was left with nothing but confusion and abject fear for his sons. So, he did what he thought he had to in order to make them strong enough to keep themselves safe. I really like your little head canon that the he remembered the dream which made him think he had to prepare them. That's an interesting idea. And, maybe he didn't remember details? Like, maybe he was just left with a feeling of, "My boys are needed for big things!" so his subconscious knew at least? I don't know, but I like the idea. So, John was more of a surprise for you because you didn't realize this was the 300th episode, so you weren't expecting anything major, which is awesome! π I also love that we got to see them within Lebanon a little, got to see a bit about what the town thinks of them which was awesome. I LOVE the mail lady and her big crush on Dean. Yeah, she's all of us. How could you possibly say no to that face and those eyes? *Le sigh* You're 100% right - Dean is THE BEST! This was an awesome reaction! Loved it!

Thought it would be a filler . I was wrong . Mary gets hurt again . And I'm like what about Bobby because aren't they dating . I thought Bobby would walk in .
