Both Shoshanna/Marcel, and Donny/Omar knew they were going to die no matter what, both of their plans were to take everyone out including themselves. Marcel locked all the main exits (so anyone exiting the lodge didn't matter anyway), and yes Aldo's group planned to blow themselves up, not plant the bombs and run away. None of them had an "exit strategy".

The film was typical Tarantino, but my only detractor was that by introducing historical characters, it forces me to reconcile that I know it couldn't have happened and it sort of detracts from letting it's outrageous story emphasize the fiction.
