This is a good episode, not my favourite, but it's interesting to get all of Gabe's story. I think Dean was just reluctant to help because he's desperate to get to Apocolypse world and get Jack and Mary, and he's seen how revenge can pull things apart and take over people's life to the detriment of everything else. John with Azazel, Sam with Lilith, and of course he's had revenge consume him in the past too (ie. Dick Roman) and he just knows getting revenge is never really a solution, but it can cause a lot of issues. Jack is obviously a bit too overconfident here, but I appreciate his want to help and make things better. The shot of him wrapping his wings around Mary to protect her from Kevin's blast is such a cool one, and shows that his instinct is to protect. Overall, a good episode, leading us to a great one!

Always delivers . Sam good at research . His weakness for demons and the bad guys always cost the team .
