The dragon at the end is Daeron’s dragon, Tessarion “The Blue Queen”. This season was cut short due to the budget was originally supposed to be 10. But I do still think this was a good finale. It did what a season finale is supposed to do. Everyone complained in season 1 because they felt it moved too fast, but now that season 2 is a slower burn everyone is still complaining about it
