I think that you summed up the Rhaenyra/Mysaria scene perfectly. Most reactors I’ve seen have been really thrown off by it and said that it felt out of place. But from my viewpoint, Rhaenyra has felt alone since basically ep 1…she hasn’t had anyone by her side and now Mysaria is showing her she’s on her side and giving her very concrete reasons as to why and in that moment she craves that connection. I do also think it goes back to her saying that she wanted to be everything that Daemon is and maybe saw her opportunity to “possess” something that daemon once had and to live up to his carefree attitude. As for Addam being able to claim Seasmoke, it could be for a couple different reasons. Seasmoke has been lonely ever since Laenor left and has been craving that bond, he could sense that Addam is Laenor’s half brother. It could also be due to Addam’s blood, the Velaryons and Targaryen’s have married each other many times throughout history so there could be just enough Targaryen blood in Addam.
