2024-06-09 14:51:16 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite episodes of the show. Any episode that highlights Jensen is a favorite but also when he does the comedy too. Love it. And yes, the part in the mirror always makes me tear up when he's struggling to even remember his own name. And Rowena. My Rowena. Perfect as always. Love her. Yes, as Linda said, when you were upset that we did not get Dean on the bull. I was like, just you wait Evie! Yeah the other witches were annoying but they were just a means to an end for me, so I don't give them any credence. And yes, Evie, it was Bad Day at Black Rock where Sam is unlucky. I think Jensen is a better comedic actor than Jared but I also think that Sam is not the type to be comedic. His character, to me, is more somber and sober. Not sad, but serious. Whereas Dean can be sarcastic and comedic and serious. The next episode is another favorite of mine.

Everything that happens in the first 2/3 of the episode is fully adorable and hilarious. Dean: Now salsa you mmm-mittens. Sam: You can't read lips. Dean: I can't read lips. 😄😄 But oh yeah, Dean in the mirror, trying so desperately to remember himself and the people he loves so much? 😭😭😭 I love Rowena in this episode. Rowena: Do we have to fix him? Sam (warningly): Rowena Rowena (with an eye roll): Samuel. Love that she calls him Samuel! 😁 And it was cool to hear her talk about how she was changing and why, after 600 + years she's finally starting to realize that gathering and hoarding power isn't the way to make you happy or satisfied. Nothing wrong with being powerful, ofc, but there needs to be something more. The ONLY thing about this episode that I don't love is the actress playing Caitriona Loughlin. I find her very irritating, and her line delivery WAY too over the top. She strikes me as a theatre actor who hasn't figured out how to act on screen. But that isn't enough to make me give this episode less than a 10. The ABSOLUTE fan service scenes of Dean on the bull at the end cancel out her bad performance a hundred times over. Lol! When you were sad they didn't show Dean on the bull on the surveillance cameras, I was like - Just wait! We get an even better shot of him very soon. 😄 Loved this reaction and loving going through season 12 with you. ❤️
