2024-04-13 01:17:55 +0000 UTCFinally getting to watch these reactions from last week. This was fabulous. I love this episode. The writing and the storyline are fabulous, such wonderful tie ins with what has come before. So, I don't think all psychics are psychic because of Azazel. Some people are just born that way. I think Azazel was causing unnatural psychic abilities by creating that link with him through his blood. But I don't think Magda was a psychic kid per se, she was just a kid who was psychic, if that makes sense. And yeah, Sam's abilities came from the demon blood (though there's some debate about that w/in the fandom) but it's always made sense to me because when Azazel died the visions and the (brief) telekinesis didn't return. He still had some latent abilities (like Lilith not being able to kill him with her white light, etc) that were attached to the demon blood still in his system, but it wasn't till he was drinking demon blood that his demon-killing abilities became possible. And you're right, we don't want Sam drinking demon blood again. Dean kills me in this episode too. Him in that sweater is a just 🤌🤌 And you made me laugh when you were like, "Father? More like...Daddy!" 😄😄 Cause, oh yeah! That is one sexy priest, which seems very wrong. 😁 In this episode we also see the fundamental problem with the British Men of Letters way of doing things. The idea of getting rid of all monsters is very tempting, but it's ultimately inhumane. As you said, we use our judgement when deciding on how to deal with monsters. Ever since meeting Gordon and the vampire Lenore in Blood Lust, (WAY back in 2x03) the boys have realized that not all monsters are evil. So, from then on they've been trying to walk that line, and live in the grey area between black and white. And I'd say I agree with pretty much all of their decisions, or at the very least can understand their thinking behind them. But the BMOL are completely black and white. Ketch (it is pronounced like the ketch in ketchup rather than catch) said they couldn't "finish the job". But they did finish the job, the BMOL just didn't like their decision to show compassion for this teenage girl. Horrible. Her ending was so tragic after her already heartbreaking life. 😞 Anyway, so great to get back to your amazing reactions. Next episode isn't a favorite of mine, (too much Nazi stuff, not enough Winchesters!) but I love that Dean gets to kill Hitler. 😄 (I have that reaction waiting to be watched next so I know that I'm not spoiling anything for you. 😁)

2024-04-02 16:24:43 +0000 UTCFucking *hate* this episode. Hated it then, hate it more and more with all the re-watches through multiple ''Reactors'' since. I get it. And I GET IT. And trust me: I. Get. It. Still pisses me off to no end, and that last scene? Fkn sends me rabid everytime. Again, I get what they were going for, and decently written for sure, great acting, Jensen in that sweater🤤🤤🤤............ but yeah.. This aside, *awesome* Reaction as always Evie. Great to see the compassion for Mary, etc...
