I liked your breakdown of Eve's behaviour and thinking in this episode. I thought the Adam 'storyline' was fun and his slow-mo descent down the stairs at LUX was so funny- a little Barry Gibb (1970/80 BeeGees) vibe there! I agree with you about not telling Ella about celestial friends etc for after all we have had five previous seasons to witness the effect that realisation can have on people... even to them ending in a mental institution. Even without that the truth has been devastating and life changing for many. It took Linda a while to come to terms with it and changed her outlook on life, the future and the universe. Chloe of course struggled for a long time once she had that knowledge as it changed everything she thought she knew about life because all that she believed was true about life, death etc proved to be wrong. I personally think Ella would have coped but maybe like you said it was perceived possibly by Luci, Amenadiel etc she has already had her fair share and more of trauma for the moment. Time will tell about how she moves on from finding out the truth and her feelings of being sidelined. As to the ending of the world... is Ella correct? After all she did work out the truth about celestials, so... intriguing isn't it? Not so many tears this episode but we still have three to go- Mwah ha ha! (wicked laugh- sort of!) Keep those tissues close!

2024-02-24 16:12:06 +0000 UTCDemons can grow, celestials can grow, and people can grow - sort of the core theme for the entire series :) I can't help but wonder how Rory hadn't heard the wedding drama at some point in her relationship with Auntie Eve and Auntie Maze. Also, clearly the world didn't end quickly or Rory wouldn't have been around. 🤔
