I agree with you completely. This episode is definitely silly. It's definitely over the top. And yes, the way they treat social media and the internet in general is a bit ridiculous. Like I said before, there are only two moments that I enjoy in this episode. One is the end scene that you mentioned. It's both sad and touching that Dean wants to just hunt and help people, and stop focusing on curing the mark. When he says he can't keep waking up every morning with false hope, it makes me so sad. I also enjoy the scene when he's talking with the girl, and tells her he feels so much guilt too, and that he deals with it through whiskey, denial, and trying to make things right. It's incredibly self-aware of him, because that is exactly how he deals. π Our boy. But other than those two moments, this episode is pretty much a total wash for me. I think all of the actors playing the college students are pretty terrible, and 90% of the dialogue between them is laughable. Lol! And, I can't take the dead guy in the bad skullcap seriously at all. π Having said all that though, I agree, it's always fun, regardless. Not every episode will be gold, and I still had moments of enjoyment in this one. Onwards and upwards though, next episode is fabulous - can't wait!

2023-11-09 14:34:46 +0000 UTCI don't know anything about this... but... 'Halt and Catch Fire' is an excellent series, but one I'm afraid Evie and most folks here wouldn't truly appreciate. It's just so much better if you were involved with tech and computers in the wild west days of the '80's..
