I used to watch this movie late at night . Never saw how it started off. Good first episode. I never knew why she hated her dad. But seeing this episode. They making it seem like the dad killed the boyfriend. Hopefully we find out .

I was a few years older than Jennifer Garner when the show started. Jennifer started kickboxing for this role and she really enjoyed it and continued kickboxing on her own. As the show goes on, I think we see her doing more of her own fight scenes. Before this, she was in a TV show called Felicity which is another one of those teen dramas. She married Scott Foley who was her costar. You may know him from Scandal. They divorced a few seasons into Alias. Because of this character’s ability to fight, Jennifer was cast as Elektra alongside Ben Affleck in a superhero movie called Daredevil and then in a her own movie called Elektra. She was also in a movie called Pearl Harbor with Ben Affleck. That’s how they first met and then became a couple in real life filming the Daredevil movie closer to 2005 when Alias was ending.
