I'm so glad you're watching this show - it's really brilliant and well done. It has 24 Emmy nominations! 😲 The actors are all fabulous in it, especially Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Ellie is a great character, and Bella just inhabits her and makes her so interesting and loveable. She is so funny, and her and Joel together are definitely something to watch! 😊 Looking forward to continuing the series with you!

2023-08-05 20:16:41 +0000 UTCHey Evie, if you’re interested, after the episode the creators of the show and sometimes the actors will talk about the episode and how they did certain things and maybe answer questions that you have. That is always really interesting. Just let the credits play to the end without it going to the next episode and then you can skip the scenes for the next episode. I’ve heard some gamers say that they really liked the opening of the pilot in 1968 with the doctors talking about what could happen and then the opening of this episode in Indonesia with the scientist explaining what she saw. If you remember, in the pilot there was news on TV talking about Jakarta and Sarah told Joel and Tommy it was a city in Indonesia. Apparently that was not in the game, so they really liked that backstory and when we saw the scientist in Indonesia telling them to bomb the city, that was just 2 day before it reached Texas where we first met Sarah, Joel and Tommy. I love Ellie, she’s such a smart ass and it’s obvious that Joel doesn’t want to get close to her after what happened with Sarah. The infected look pretty interesting also, the cordyceps fungus takes over the host and the fungus will start to grow out of the their head w they are at different stages which is why some have fungus covering their entire face, like the ones they ran into at the museum who can see, but hear you and some don’t have any fungus showing yet. I’m looking forward to the next episode.
