Funny thing about Chloe asking Eve whether she had any "superpowers" - maybe I'm missing something from the bible, but didn't she (according to that book) basically manage to jumpstart a viable human society (the one we're still a part of) without any additional genetic material? She was made from Adams rib, so probably has the same genes as him, and her sons couldn't be too different either. And still we have all this diversity in our genes now. That must be some sort of superpower right there! Not that it would help much in that situation, though :P

2023-07-14 11:18:21 +0000 UTCThat was a really insightful reaction. I like your thinking about Eve and that she deserves to be happy but you think Lucifer isn't the one to make her happy. I think she does really care about him but does she really know him now? She KNEW him but we all know how different he is from even the Lucifer we first met in season 1 and Eve hasn't been a part of his life since the garden of Eden! Can you ever re-kindle an old relationship? I understand how Lucifer feels, I think, in accepting his role in this relationship. Eve obviously adores him and Chloe told him she was terrified of him. Although she is coming to terms with the situation now, for Lucifer that hurt and rejection is understandable even though now he knows how much Chloe cares about him, he must still think she cannot have the total relationship with him that he desires. It is sad, complicated and as you so aptly put it, all about communication or lack of it! The story is really developing and as D Boss says- buckle up for a wild ride!

Oh and now that the show is run by Netflix, there are NO fillers or wishy washy episodes, so buckle up - the ride from now till this season's finale is a wild ride!
