Hi Evie, I’m happy that you are enjoying the show. I couldn’t stop watching and binged a lot of it. To answer your question about Walt and Elliott talking about grad school. That is what we call education after the standard 4 years of college to obtain a higher degree like a Masters or PhD. I can also understand everyone’s point during the intervention and Walt feeling that taking money from Elliott and Gretchen is charity and he doesn’t want that. He was working with them in school, but ended up becoming a high school chemistry teacher struggling financially and I think he wonders what his life would’ve been like if he had become business partners with them in their Grey Matters business because they are wealthy. Jesse was trying to get an honest job, but he wasn’t qualified for anything and didn’t want a job twirling signs like his buddy. I thought it was so interesting watching Jesse cook and taking it seriously while his buddy was just screwing around the whole time when he was the one screwing around the first time Walt cooked with him. Now Jesse understands how important it is to make a high quality batch. Now Walt has agreed to treatment, but doesn’t want Elliott and Gretchen paying, so the only thing he can do to make money is to ask Jesse to cook with him as his conditions continues. What will Walt do next? Will he continue cooking? Walter’s journey is pretty amazing and I’m happy to go on this ride again with you Evie.
