I like Season 7 (Part 1) better than seasons 5 and 6, though I did very much like season 5. A postive about season 5 is that Jamie came into his own as a true leader. Plus, S5E12 is creative (my favorite line = "kill them all"). Aspects I like about season 7 include the inclusion of Jamies' adult son and the dialogue, etc. As for season 6, I wished season 6 would have had more on the lead up to the Revolutionary War.

Tom Christy finally found someone who was his equal or maybe more so and that is what he found most attractive in Claire. He spent his life looking for someone worthy of his love and, once he found her, was willing to sacriface himself for that person (as Jamie said he would have done). Didn't see Jamie killing Brown coming (didn't happen that way in the books) but I am not complaining and a great way to end the episode. Yes, they were tieing up loose ends, but there are a few left to bind. Anyway, glad you are back to Outlander and hope your health and pregnancy is well.

I've mentioned this before, but Men in Kilts Season 2 begins (August 11), right after Outlander Season 7 Part A ends (they've divided the season into 2 parts. Season 7 Part B begins in early 2024). During the Droughtlander, it would be a great time to watch Men In Kilts (both Season 1 & 2). You told me it was a great idea, but nothing ever happened. I know that you are inundated with shows to watch, but I know you would get a kick out of the real Sam and Graham and their foolishness.

Also I think it's nice that we got to know more about the Malva situation here, and it makes us wonder if her father really did kill her... I like the new version of Skye song (the "broken" and "tired voice" reflects our emotional stage at this point on the show haha) but not as much as past versions. So excited to watch your reactions for this show every time. See you next Monday for episode 2 ^^ โค๏ธ
