I just looked up if the king and his wife were related because they both had the Targaryen blond hair... and they were COUSINS! so I'll just stop being shook by these incestuous relationships lol it's just been a while since I was in the GOT universe you know π³

Yes, you should definitely just accept that incest is going to happen especially with the targaryens xD. I always laugh when everyone's like "awww i love their relationship." and then the next scene is them in the pleasure house and everyone is shook even though it's been very obvious from ep 1 that they've been interested in each other. Yes, coupling means what you think it means and you're right, they did not make it that far because Daemon stopped. As for why Daemon brought her there...well it could be 3 different reasons. Either he wanted to ruin her reputation so Viserys would allow them to marry to spare her reputation, he knew that Otto would have spies and wanted to get him fired, or he truly just wanted to teach Rhaenyra about sexuality. Personally, I think it's a combo of the first two... Daemon expresses interest in marrying her during his convo with Viserys after and we all know that he doesn't like Otto. But what he didn't account for was the fact that Rhaenyra would be into it like she was and he felt guilty about it because he does truly care about her. Baelon was Viserys and Daemon's father who was hand before Otto to the previous King..he named the baby who died after him. The thing with Daemon is that he almost needs to feel wanted and needed by his family, he cares deeply about both Viserys and Rhaenyra, it's never truly been about him wanting the throne...all he's ever wanted is recognition and love from his brother. Fantastic reaction once again!
