And it's so awesome we got Cas back too! He was such a badass against Crowley with his grace glowing and wings showing! (Hey, that rhymes! π) Crowley is indeed very evil, despite his charm and charisma! But it IS very easy to forget. π Like you, I hate that Naomi is forcing Castiel to do things against his will, and lie to Sam and Dean about it. I felt exactly as you do, that I didn't want this forced secrecy to come between them all again. π₯ The way Dean always feels the need to heap responsibility on himself breaks my heart. I think you're right; obviously it's important for people to be accountable for their actions, and with so much skill and strength, Sam and Dean have to be extra careful. But I also agree completely that the extra burdens Dean always seems to take on himself come from growing up so quickly and being responsible for Sam for so long. (He was definitely like a surrogate father, and no doubt he does see Sam as a son as well as a baby brother. π₯Ί) And to know that that kind of responsibility, guilt and burden is always resting on his shoulders breaks my heart. And even though I don't believe there's anyone who could carry the weight more capably, I still wish he could be unburdened. π Fantastic reaction, as always, my friend! Loved it!
