Your thirst for S8 Dean and his badassery is shared by us all, I think. 😁 He is ridiculously hot - that little tie move in the interrogation room, where he rips his tie off - just...no words! 🤤😁 And yes, his like, swagger through the train station was extra 🥵 They do a good job at creating suspense about what really went down with Cas, kept us all guessing. I enjoy hearing your takes on how you think things may have played out. I agree completely that the boys (focused on Dean, especially) don't use people up and leave them for dead. It is NOT their fault that they lose people around them, that would be the fault of the monsters they fight against. They try very hard to save people, and succeed most of the time. The people they can't save turn into nightmares for them, so to act like they're just laisse-faire about losing people is very disingenuous, and obviously a machination of Crowley to shake Kevin's confidence and feeling of safety. But you're right too, in saying that Dean is obviously different, slightly colder and harder. And yeah, I think that's just a soldier returning from war. 😔 Anyway, this was really fun to watch with you. The next episode was directed by Jensen. It's not a fave of the season for me, but I still like it, and he does a great job directing. 😊 Oh, and just btw - the whole "Tiger Mom" thing was a reference to a book that was really popular at the time called, "The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" by Amy Chua, which was a book that talked about some characteristics of Asian mothers, and how they raised their children in a fierce, tough way. (I believe anyway - I never read it, but the book was everywhere, and they even made a TV show out of it called Tiger Mom. So, I think that was the gist of it.) So, it's just a reference that most people definitely don't get anymore. Lol! Definitely no rush on the SPN video, or the bloopers. We'll be here to watch 'em whenever you get to them. Enjoy having visitors, hope you get to have a nice, long, happy visit. 😊

2023-03-25 18:49:58 +0000 UTCI like this episode too. I like a few of the early episodes this season. But to me it really takes off mid season, and is more enjoyable. I don't know what it says about a lot of us who find bad ass Dean sexy☺ I guess it just means we have good taste. I love how he goes from bad ass and sexy in the interrogation room, to adorably confused a couple of scenes later when he asks, "is Pluto even still a planet". Love him! Anyone else want to be the only woman in Purgatory with Benny, DEAN and Cass? Just me😀
