In 7x14 of TVD we see Caroline looking for Klaus 3 years in the future. So this takes place 2 years after TVD ending. I do believe Klaus is right when he says Marcel is keeping him alive in order to not become the monster, he believes Klaus to be. Him saying the "you are weak" is purely out of anger.

The only thing we needed to know was how much time passed and they told us in the first minute of the episode so I think I’ll be okay watching 5 episodes of this before finishing TVD!

2023-02-22 14:31:44 +0000 UTCI think this could be my favourite premiere from all of TVDU. It just feels so much more mature and family-oriented than before. I think it’s because of how Hayley was in tvd (looking for family) and now she’s finally found them. Hope is so cute aswell
