Had Elijah and Freya not done what they did exactly in the time that they did Lucian could have easily killed hayley and klaus. The way davina died was one of the most brutal deaths on this show and she did not deserve that and I can see clear as day all the points marcel and Vincent gave. Elijah will always choose his family above everything that’s his main characteristic, it’s what makes him as dangerous and loyal as people perceive him to be. Freya losing so many years is almost just like Elijah in the sense of always choosing her family first. This show is amazing due to the way it makes you see all perspectives and how unpredictable it is, many times you wouldn’t think they’ll kill some of the main characters so many times it becomes boring being able to guess what will happen but this show doesn’t shy from killing it’s characters adding more suspense and thrill in episodes like this!
