I thought it was a fabulous backstory probably beginning in 'season 1' as Luci said he had just started with the LAPD didn't he? and he and Linda were regularly having sex which we know they stopped ages ago. I liked the time passing and time jump. I felt it showed us , although not explained as such, maybe why Linda may have decided to become a therapist and help people with problems- she obviously had had a less than favourable experience in her own relationship with her husband- just a thought. I thought it was a very clever episode too in how it was done. We also learned a little more about how Hell works. One of my favourite episodes this season. (one of many many still to come)
