Another fun fact about this episode - Sam practiced for days for that sword dance that he did. He was really serious about it. He said that he didn't care about doing it in front of all those people and on film. He so wanted to impress Cait and was afraid of her reaction. The shots of her reaction were real (you could tell).

2023-02-03 19:51:22 +0000 UTCHey Evie, Jamie purposely told the twins they were 14 so they wouldn’t be required to join the militia. He did it to protect them even though they look older. I really enjoyed watching the scene with Brianna and Marsali again. I remember being happy the first time I saw it because I wasn’t sure how they would feel about each other. But, they are basically sisters in law if you think of Fergus and Brianna as Jamie and Claire’s kids. *sniff* I love that Jamie asked Claire if she wanted to keep the baby when he saw Claire holding her, since they never had the opportunity to raise children together. I just remembered when they were at Lallybroch and Jamie told her that he wanted to fill the house with their sons and daughters. I can picture it in my head and then Jamie tries to comfort her when they still believed Claire couldn’t have children. They do have Fergus, Brianna with their spouses and grandchildren. Oh my god, Jamie. I can’t LoL If only he were a real person… Ha! When Isaiah asked Jamie and Roger if they would be willing to leave the women they love and never see them again then he would leave without Alicia, but Jamie and Roger couldn’t say it. Ughhh, If only Brianna never told Bonnet her name when she visited him in prison, he wouldn’t know where to find her.

Roger fails yet again in Jamies eyes, yet Clare gives Roger reassurance. The Beardsley infant finds a new home, and fills a hole left by the Brown's bays's death. Morton and Alcia proves true love wins out over hate even as her father, Lionel, wallows in his hate. Finally, when considering the baby and their own futures, Clare and Jamie share the purest sentiments of their love between each other. "All you can hope... is the good will outweigh the harm that will come from it." ~ Clare Fraser "I think Roger did a good job." ~ Evie Yet again, a great reaction to a very compelling episode.
